Following the recent nominations for election to the SAA Executive/National Council for the year beginning Saturday 14th March 2009, the results were as follows:

NATIONAL COUNCIL

As you can see there is a vacancy on the National Executive for the position of Executive Member, and a number of vacancies on the National Council for regional reps. If any of your members are interested in any of the vacant positions, please ask them to contact head office for a nomination form. The closing date for receipt of nomination forms is Monday 9th February 2009. If we have more than one nomination for a particular position then a ballot will be required. This will need to be completed by Monday 9th March 209 in order for the successful candidate to take over their duties after the AGM.
