Our congratulations go to Mandy Buckley, club training officer for Icicle Divers, club no 108, who  broke the British Dynamic with Fins Freedive record on Sunday 31st of May this year.

This involves swimming underwater, up and down a pool, to cover a horizontal distance on one breath of air.

The existing record was 134 meters held by Ruth Griffiths (a New Zealander with British parents). Mandy has set a new record at 140 meters.

Mandy is now working towards the world record which is over 200 meters.
